What advice would you give about places to visit, travel, accommodation,
eating out, shopping, sightseeing, things to bring and souvenirs to buy?

ResponderEliminarHi, I hope you are fine, i hear you are going to travel to colombia next week, so i am going to give you some advices,im sure will be of great help to you.
*You MUST NOT talk about religion,politics, drugs and terrorism, just avoid those topics.
*You HAVE TO visit a lot of museums in downtown bogota,Just cheek if they are open.
*You CAN travel in a lot of transports, i recomend to you the bicycle, but you can take a taxi, or transmilenio, but be careful, it is incomfortable.
*You SHOULD go to monserate, simon bolivar park, salitre magico park, a lot of beautiful places to BOGOTA, do not forget your camera, take a lof ot photos.
*You SHOULD buy a lot of souvenirs, Buy at least one of every place you visit, But be careful, save your money and do not spend it.
*You HAVE NOT TO talk with weird people, avoid the drugs, alcohol,etc. But well, if you want to have a good time, a good party, do it in safe places, few alcohol , dance a lot and be respect with the people.

if you want weather warm, you HAVE TO visit santa marta. this city is amazing.
you CAN visit a lot of touristic places as the sierra nevada, tayrona park, el rodadero beach among others .
if you want rest in a quiet beach, you HAVE TO visit The beach in Tayrona Park is a beach with little surf. but, you MUST be very respectful because this is a sacred place, so you HAVE TO be careful.
In El Rodadero you CAN buy replicas of indigenous figurines.
you MUST buy typical vueltiao hats in town.
you CAN visit the aquarium.
in the beach you MUST eat coconut rice, lobster, shrimp cocktail, and a lot of seafood
you CAN NOT forget to buy Wool backpacks made by indigenous Kogi and Arhwacs are highlighted.
you MUST be careful with people, as, you talk them because they are rude if you are not respectful.
you HAVE NOT TO forget this advices, are very important and necessary.

ResponderEliminarHope you are fine Steven. In the call you told me, that you HAVE TO come to Colombia in the next week to bussines travel and also for days for relax, and you SHOULD enjoy some places to the country. I’m going to help you with some information and tips.
I know that your meeting business is in Cartagena city. This city is a magnificent tourist destination.
You MUST to go to the historic center and walk all over the street stone, in that place you could see the colonial constructions. You SHOULD visit the inquisition’s palace and the clock’s tower.
You MUST go to explore the castle of San Felipe it´s very important and interesting.
There is variety of hotel’s for stay, you SHOULD stay in Intercontinental Hotel because be excellent. You HAVE TO eat the typical foods for example the coconut rice, rice with meat tabaquito, fried and soups; in different restaurants of the city. You MUST go to fishing restaurant club.
You HAVE TO visit Bocagrande, Rosario Island, Barú and San Bernardo with its beach’s.
Also you SHOULD go to Getsemani, you could dance in its bar or clubs night.
You can buy things and souvenir’s in anyplace of city, but you SHOULD buy at a good price, you MUST NOT let swindle.
